SKDT logo The Shizumi Kodomo Dance Troupe (SKDT), based in Washington DC, first came together in 2000 for the White House Millennium Celebration—and has been dancing at the National Cherry Blossom Festival and other venues ever since.  
静美こども舞踊団（SKDT）は、2000年にホワイトハウスで行われたミレニアム記念イベントを機に結成され、ワシントンDCに拠点を置き、全米桜祭りを始め数多くのイベントに出演してい ます。

While focusing on traditional Japanese dance, our dancers are young, ethnically diverse, and exemplify what is best about our world. こ ども舞踊団のメンバーは「人種のるつぼ」と言われるアメリカを代表する4歳から17歳のダンサーです。伝統的かつモダンな日本の舞踊を通じて、東西文化の 懸け橋になることを目指しています。舞踊団の活動に関心をお持ち下さり、ありがとうございます。 次回の公演会場 にて皆様にお目にかかれることを楽しみにしています。
